Most vacation rental listings work hard to make a property look larger and better than it is. We’d rather just tell you what’s there so you arrive with accurate expectations and leave happy.
Here’s the honest version of our Bradenton pool home — the one that sits twelve minutes from Anna Maria Island and sleeps up to twelve people.
The Pool Situation
The pool is heated and fully fenced. It’s big enough for adults to actually swim laps and deep enough at one end for adults to jump in without negotiating. The outdoor area around it has sun loungers, a dining table for eating outside, and a fire pit for evenings when you don’t want to go inside at 9 p.m. just because the sun went down. The backyard is fully fenced, which matters if you’ve got young kids or dogs — both are welcome.
The Game Room
This is the part that surprises people the most. Arcade games, foosball, ping pong — a proper game room, not a corner with a dart board. When it rains for twenty minutes in the afternoon or when someone’s tired but not ready to sleep, the game room solves the problem. For sports families in town for IMG Academy tournaments, this is what the kids do after a long day. For adult groups, this is where evenings go sideways in the best way.
The Bedrooms
Four bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, and enough space that twelve people aren’t circling each other in the hallways. The kitchen is a full kitchen — stocked with everything you’d expect, including a coffee maker, cooking basics, and enough counter space to actually prepare a meal. We remodeled recently and it shows.
What We Actually Provide
Towels, linens, toiletries, starter supplies (dish soap, trash bags, a roll of paper towels). We don’t skimp on this. The property is cleaned and inspected before every arrival, and if something’s wrong, you message Bill or Heather and it gets handled — not escalated to a support queue.
The Location
Bradenton is not a tourist town. It doesn’t have the neon-sign energy of the resort areas further south. What it has is a functioning, pleasant community with good food, proximity to Anna Maria Island, and real neighborhoods. Twelve minutes to the beach is twelve minutes — not twelve minutes if traffic cooperates.
The second Bradenton home (our IMG Academy property) is very similar in layout and amenities, but positioned slightly differently for families coming in for tournaments.
